Dr. Lanier is a North Carolina native. In fact, she grew up about 5 minutes away from Middle Creek Veterinary Hospital and Exotic Animal Clinic. She knew from a very young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian and has now worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years. Dr. Lanier is a graduate of North Carolina State University for undergrad specializing in animal nutrition and the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine where she specialized in dog, cat and exotic animal medicine. When not at work Dr. Lanier can often be found on stage playing music in a bluegrass band or on the trail with her horses. Dr. Lanier is also passionate about taking care of her animal family, which includes dogs, cats, horses, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, and various fish and reptiles.

Emily has over ten years experience in the Veterinary field beginning as kennel attendant and working her way up to a practice manager. She has brought new life and ideas to our MCVH Family. Emily is very compassionate about animal rescue and companionship. She currently has one personal dog and two foster dogs along with a snake and 2 horses.
Customer Care Specialist
Christy is a wonderful person who brings great passion and charisma to our work She loves helping ALL animals and takes a special interest in teaching clients about best-care techniques for their family members. She began her animal-care career working in a veterinary clinic in Laurinburg, North Carolina, where she worked as a receptionist, a kennel assistant, and a veterinary assistant. Christy is also very passionate about wildlife conservation – volunteering her time saving and caring for hummingbirds, lemurs and various big cats species. On weekday evenings, Christy enjoys watching movies with her two kitties Special K and Busy B. On weekends, Christy enjoys kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, attending music concerts, and spending time with friends.

You may also see the occasional unfamiliar face at Middle Creek Veterinary Hospital. We frequently welcome students, interns, and externs from local educational programs such as the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine and the Veterinary Technician programs.
